on.
Temple Bar Cultural Trust (formerly Temple Bar Properties) is a private
limited company that works on a not-for-profit basis to support culture
here in Temple Bar.
Temple Bar – Dublin’s Cultural
Quarter is located on the south bank of the River Liffey and
is home to more than 50 cultural organisations offering you an opportunity
to experience contemporary arts in some of the most spectacular and innovative
cultural venues in the city.
Big Top Multimedia was commissioned to design and develop their new
web site. The site offers information about the cultural life of Temple
Bar, events, news, and the cultural organisations in the
area.
Dublin
Tourism, the official tourist authority for Dublin, are a major client
for Big Top Multimedia. We have developed their award winning web site, visitdublin.com,
a vast online tourism resource for Dublin, with over 4000 pages of content.
Serving well over 4 million pages per month, it is a high traffic site,
which has helped Dublin Tourism to remain a leader in it's field.
In
2007 we worked with Dublin Tourism to re-developed the entire visitdublin.com
web site from the ground up, adding a range of new and exciting features
as well as giving the site a dynamic new look.
The new visitdublin.com site features information in 6 world languages,
online accommodation, car hire, and golf booking services, special offers,
weather, and information on Dublin in over 100 categories.
Dublin Tourism has also been to the fore in embracing new internet
technologies, and the new site delivers content in formats for PDA, WAP
and i-Mode mobile devices.
Information in all categories on the
site is also available via RSS feeds, and Dublin Tourism actively encourages
other organisations to utilise their information through this channel.
Innovative use of multimedia content is one of the primary aims of the
Dublin Tourism internet strategy. As part of the new visitdublin.com
site Dublin Tourism launched "iWalks", an MP3 audio guides
to the city. iWalks are available to download directly, or through
a subscription to the iWalk Podcast. In doing so Dublin Tourism
became the first tourism authority in Europe to launch MP3 audio guides.
Other multimedia content includes video, screensavers, e-cards, a webcam,
and a toolbar plug-in for Internet Explorer.
The visitdublin.com site serves over half a million users every month
and reaches consumers right around the globe. In 2005 visitdublin.com
generated €7 million of business to the Tourism industry in Dublin.
We also design, develop and publish a regular e-zine for Dublin Tourism,
received by over 50,000 people world wide.
The
James Joyce Centre is dedicated to promoting an understanding of the
life and works of James Joyce. In doing so, the Centre strives to be
an integral contributor to the network of institutions which celebrate
Ireland’s rich cultural heritage.
Big Top Multimedia was commissioned to develop their new web site,
complete with online newsletter and full online content management facilities.
Beckett Centenary Festival

The Beckett Centenary Festival celebrated the life and work of one
of Irelands most famous sons, Samuel Beckett. The festival cast further
illumination on Samuel Beckett, Nobel Laureate and master of many genres.
Big Top Multimedia were commissioned to design and develop the
web site for the Festival. It is designed to provide a comprehensive
guide to the events that were to unfold over the month of April 2006,
and to showcase some of the event partners, whose programmes offer exciting
insight into Beckett.
CityArts,
Dublin (formerly City Arts Centre) has over a thirty year history of
producing and presenting work made with, for and by communities in Dublin,
Ireland.
Big Top Multimedia were commissioned to design and develop the web
site for CityArts. It is designed to permit the organisation to deliver
comprehensive information on past and future events, projects, exhibitions,
and more!
If

of sunshine per year then the Italian island of Sardinia is the place
for the property of your dreams!
Big Top Multimedia were commissioned to design and develop the web
site for Sardinian Dreams.
Developed
for Capital Bars, Dublin After five is a night time visitor guide
to Dublin. The site is aimed at letting you explore a selection of some
of the best pubs, clubs and restaurants Dublin City has to offer.
The site presents users with a host of interesting nightlife options.
Whether you're a visitor to our fair city or a true Dub, you'll find
plenty to amuse and entertain on this site.
Big Top Multimedia designed and developed the site, and the identity
for the Dublin After Five site.
Dublin Tourism
Visitdublin.com i-mode site
The
Dublin Tourism i-mode site puts the official tourist office for Dublin
right in the palm of your hand! The visitdublin.com i-mode site is one
of the first European web sites to be built for the recently launched
i-mode platform. The site is one of the official content partner sites
for O2 in Ireland and is available on the Irish O2 i-mode portal.
i-mode is a Japanese technology that brings full colour, fully featured
web sites directly to a users mobile phone.
The pregnancystore.com recently launched their new, fully
featured, site which combines cutting edge design with
outstanding technology. This site provides the company with
a beautifully designed, fully featured, robust e-commerce platform which has put them ahead of their competitors across the world. The site is an outstanding example of
what we can deliver using our skill and expertise to expand
and enhance the standard e-commerce plus package.
101 Translations are the best, fastest, and most cost-effective solution
for your professional translations available today. 101 Translations
came to us looking for help with their corporate identity. We provided
them with a new corporate logo and a fresh new look for their web site.
Their new design and identity has helped them to promote their services
more effectively and expand their business going forward.
Advantage
ICO is a specialist company providing management skills and expertise
to clients in the following sectors: Conferences, Destination
Management, Events and Incoming Tours. Their new site, designed and developed
by Big Top Multimedia, positions the company to take advantage of the
opportunities that the Internet provides.
Dublin Tourism Touchscreen
The
Dublin Tourism Touchscreen is a web enabled tourist information solution
that permits tourists in Dublin to access Dublin Tourism's extensive
tourist information databases through an easy to use touchscreen interface.
The Dublin Tourism touchscreens are located in several areas around
the city. You can access the touchscreen application online at the following

Big Top Multimedia designed and developed The Dublin Pass web site for
Dublin Tourism. The site provides a powerful e-commerce platform for
selling the Pass world-wide.
An integral part of the project was the development of an affiliate
system which allows partner companies to offer the pass for sale on their
sites in return for a commission. The Dublin Pass site also provides
comprehensive reporting functions for both Dublin Tourism and affiliates.
Skål
is the only international organisation which brings together all branches
of the travel and tourism industry. Representing the industry's managers
and executives, Skålleagues meet at local, national and international
levels in an environment of friendship to discuss subjects of common
interest.
Big Top Multimedia developed the Skål Ireland site which
empowers the organisation to harness the power of the Internet to disseminate
information for all of the regional associations, as well as contact
information,
links,
and
regularly
updated
news.
Big
Top Multimedia was contracted to design and develop the official
site for the Rejoyce Dublin 2004 Bloomsday Centenary Festival. The festival
is a major cultural event, sponsored by
the
Irish
Government. Rejoycedublin2004.com provides
the most comprehensive online information resource for the festival and
all
festival events, and the promotion of interactivity through the use of
competitions, message boards, electronic postcards, and downloadable
screensavers and desktops.
The web site for the Royal St George Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland,
was designed and developed by Big Top Multimedia. The site provides a
wide range of information to club members and to the public. Club members
may access a private, password protected, members area where they can
access materials pertaining to members only.
Tourism Ireland (Denmark, Norway, Sweden)
Big Top Multimedia has been contracted to provide Tourism Ireland offices
in Denmark, Norway & Sweden with email marketing services. We design,
develop, and publish regular e-zines for these Tourism Ireland Offices.
The e-zines promote Ireland as a tourism destination to the public. Special
e-zines are also published for the travel trade and press in these countries.
The Dublingifts.com web site
is the online product sales and distribution vehicle for Dublin Tourism.
The site provides visitors with an opportunity
to purchase guide books and other items online prior to visiting Dublin.
